Rui Ranger Fan, University of California San Diego

Rui Ranger Fan received his B.Eng. degree from the Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) in Jul. 2015 and his Ph.D. degree from the University of Bristol (UoB) in Jun. 2018. Rui worked as a Research Associate (Postdoc) in the Robotics Institute (RI) at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) between Jul. 2018 and Feb. 2020. Rui has been working as a postdoc fellow at the University of California San Diego (UCSD) since Feb. 2020. Rui's research interests include computer vision, machine learning, robotics, and image processing.

Nemanja Djuric, Aurora Technologies

Nemanja Djuric is an Applied Scientist and Technical Lead Manager at Aurora Technologies, while prior to his current position he worked in the same role at Uber ATG. Previously he was a Research Scientist at Yahoo Labs working on computational advertising. Dr. Djuric published more than 50 peer-reviewed publications at leading Machine Learning, Data Mining, Computer Vision, and Web Science conferences and journals. His work was featured in Market Watch, VentureBeat, IEEE Innovation at Work, and other news outlets across the world.

Wenshuo Wang, McGill University

Wenshuo Wang received his Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Beijing Institute of Technology in June 2018. During his Ph.D. program, he worked as a Research Scholar in the Vehicle Dynamics & Control Lab (VDL) at the University of California, Berkeley (2015/09-2017/09) and University of Michigan, Ann Arbor (2017/09-2018/07). He is now working as a Research Fellow at McGill University, Montreal, QC, Canada. Before joint McGill University, he was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Carnegie Mellon University and UC Berkeley for near three years.
